C & L Water Solutions will be continuing the District’s sewer main rehabilitation project in August. Work will be performed in the following areas: W. Jewell Pl. between S. Estes St. and S. Garrison St., S. Estes St. between W. Jewell Pl. and W. Jewell Ave., S. Wadsworth Blvd. between W. Arkansas Ave. and W. Arkansas Pl., W. Arizona Pl. at S. Wadsworth Blvd., and W. Mississippi Ave. at S. Pierce St. C & L is using a Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) method to install a fiberglass and epoxy liner in the pipe. CIPP extends the life of the pipe for 30-50 years, is faster and less expensive than traditional open cut pipe replacement. Installation of CIPP typically only takes one day per pipe segment which helps minimize any disruption to your service and traffic on the street.
