Form description for hydrant permit, own meter

When providing your own meter:

  1. Submittal of a refundable $2,000 usage deposit
  2. Certification of meter calibration within the last 6 months
  3. Certification of backflow device within the last 6 months
  4. Meters and backflow devices must be properly supported by jacks or assembled on a cart or dolly.
  5. Water is only permitted to be taken from Bancroft Clover hydrants. Use of any and all hydrants in the District is subject to District approval.
  6. The meter and backflow must be removed from the hydrant and secured daily.
  7. Water use is billed at $7.15 per one thousand gallons.
  8. Meter readings, including zero consumption, are required to be submitted to the district by the 15th of each month. Reads may be submitted in person or by email to support@bancroftclover.com.

Invoices for hydrant water use will be sent monthly and are due on the date listed on the statement.

Failure to pay invoices for hydrant use by the due date may result in a $50.00 fine and/or revocation of the hydrant use permit and disconnection and impoundment of the hydrant meter, backflow assembly and hoses.
