In early summer, work will begin on the 2024 sewer pipe rehabilitation project. The District’s contractor, C&L Water Solutions will be lining 13,000 of sewer main. Work will be focused in the area between S. Garrison St and S. Kipling Blvd. between W. Mississippi Ave. and W. Florida Ave.
C&L will be using a process called Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) to install a liner inside the pipe. CIPP extends the life of the pipe, is less expensive than open trench replacement and, less disruptive to customer’s street and service.
